Quinte West OPP have charged two people with impaired driving.
On Sunday morning, officers responded to a collision, and the driver was arrested for being impaired.
Byron Reininger, a 22 year old Trenton man, was charged with operation while impaired, blood alcohol over 80, driving with open liquor, and not having an insurance card.
Later that evening, officers responded to another collision. The driver was located a short time later and arrested for being impaired.
Amber Greathouse, a 29 year old from Thunder Bay, was charged with operation while impaired and dangerous operation.
Both of the accused were released, with court dates scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville. Both drivers were given a 90 day driver’s licence suspension, and their vehicles were impounded for a week.
