A new crown attorney has been appointed for Hastings and Prince Edward County.
Michael Lunski has been named as the new crown attorney for the region.
Lunski has served as an assistant crown attorney since 2004, and has prosecuted a wide variety of cases including theft, homicide, and gang violence.
He joined the Belleville office in 2009 and has held several positions there since, as well as holding the crown position in Picton for three years.
Lunski is taking over the role from outgoing Crown Attorney Lee Burgess, who is retiring in December.
