Belleville City Council will be receiving an update on the city’s work under the Housing Accelerator Fund as well as receive an outlook on 2026.
Among the projects that will be looked at in 2026 under the Housing Accelerator Fund will be the completion of an Environmental Record of Site Condition for the former fairgrounds property.
This is to allow for support of potential redevelopment for housing and determine the best use of the site.
Advancing plans for the disposition and redevelopment of the existing YMCA property to further support housing objectives will also be discussed.
Council meets today at 4 p.m. in council chambers at Belleville City Hall.
