The Stouffville Spirit defeated the Trenton Golden Hawks 5-1 on Saturday.

The Spirit opened scoring with an unanswered first-period goal, followed by three back-to-back goals in the second. In the third, the Spirit got one more goal, before the Golden Hawks finally got on the board with their one and only of the night, with less than 10 seconds on the clock.
The Golden Hawks will be back in action on Friday, travelling to face the Markham Royals.
