The Laval Rocket smashed the Belleville Senators 7-2 on Saturday in the second of their back-to-back games.
Philippe Daoust and Wyatt Bongiovanni scored for the Senators.
The Rocket opened scoring midway through the first period, but the Senators came back to even the score shortly after, taking a tie into the second. In the second period, the Rocket scored twice back to back, taking the lead and holding it after the Senators scored again. In the third, the Rocket scored four more times back to back while keeping the Senators off the board, extending their lead and winning the game.
The Senators will continue their road trip with a visit to the Manitoba Moose on Tuesday.
