A team of three Belleville police officers have been recognized as part of the The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board’s 40 under 40 event.
During Thursday’s meeting of the Belleville Police Services Board, the three officers of the Community Resource Unit were recognized as one of the winning nominations.
The Community Resource Unit is made up of Constables Aaron Crawford, Josh Woodcock, and Brittney Blake, and focuses on prevention, youth engagement, and supporting vulnerable populations.
The team works closely with people experiencing homelessness, addictions, and mental health challenges, in proactive outreach efforts in the community.
