The Laval Rocket edged the Belleville Senators 4-3 in overtime on Friday night.

The Senators opened scoring in the first period, with the Rocket evening the score before the frame ended. In the second period, the Rocket scored twice, building a slight lead as the Senators scored once more. In the third, the Senators scored one more unanswered goal to even the score and send the teams to overtime. After just under three minutes of overtime play, the Rocket scored and took the game.
The two teams are set to clash again today with the Rocket hosting the Senators. Game time is 3 p.m.
