Prince Edward County OPP are investigating an armed robbery and vehicle theft at a Picton gas station.
Just before 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, a male suspect entered a gas station in downtown Picton, allegedly armed with a handgun. After the robbery, the suspect fled the scene in a stolen vehicle.
The vehicle was quickly located and seized in a cooperative effort between several OPP teams and detachments.
The suspect remains at large and is described as a 6′ tall white man with a large build, curly brown hair, wearing a red hoodie, tan pants and black shoes.
The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Prince Edward County OPP.
