There was a house fire Prince Edward County Thursday night.
Firefighters along with Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services and OPP responded
at around 10 p.m. to the 100 block of Fenwood Crescent, between Rossmore and Mountain
View off of Highway 62.
The 2 storey home was fully involved upon their arrival however the elderly occupants managed
to get out safely.
Nearby homes were evacuated out of fears propane tanks in the garage could explode.
The blaze was deemed under control in about an hour.
