Northumberland OPP are asking to hear from witnesses as it investigates a two-vehicle collision in Trent Hills.
Police, fire and paramedics responded to the area of County Road 45 and Concession Road 11 on Sunday at approximately 5:50 p.m.
One vehicle left the roadway, seriously injuring the driver.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and later transferred to a Toronto-area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Collision Investigation members attended the location and the road was closed until shortly after 2:00 a.m. on Sunday.
This investigation remains ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed or has video/dash camera footage of the collision is asked to contact the Northumberland OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
