The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board of Trustees has elected the chair and vice-chair for the final year of the term (2022-2026).
At the Education Centre on Ann Street in Belleville, Kari Kramp was re-elected as Chair of the Board of Trustees, defeating Erica Charlton.
For the role of Vice-Chair, Erica Charlton was acclaimed, after Amanda Robertson withdrew her name.

Trustee members were also selected to sit on a dozen committees, including the Audit Committee, Physical Planning, Finance and Building Committee, and the Student Learning, Well-Being and Equity Committee, among others.
Named to the Governance and Policy Standing Committee are Chair Kramp (serves as committee chair), along with trustees Hambly, Robertson, Binder, and Prinzen.
The Governance and Policy Standing Committee will elect the representatives for the remaining committees.
