The Association of Fundraising Professionals South Eastern Ontario (AFP SEO) Chapter hosted the 2025 National Philanthropy Day Awards
on Thursday evening at Albert College, bringing together donors, volunteers, nonprofit leaders, and community partners for an uplifting celebration of generosity and impact.
Held annually around November 15, National Philanthropy Day recognizes individuals and organizations whose acts of giving strengthen communities across the globe.
“National Philanthropy Day is a moment to celebrate what happens when people care deeply about their communities,” said Melanie Barrett, President of AFP South Eastern Ontario. “Our honourees remind us that generosity does more than respond to needs — it ignites possibility, uplifts families, and builds a stronger, more hopeful future for everyone.”
