Students in Hastings and Prince Edward Schools will be all smiles this holiday season. The Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation (HPELF) was selected as the beneficiary of this year’s Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign at Belleville and Stirling locations. Proceeds from every cookie sold will support local Food for Learning programs, helping ensure that students across Hastings and Prince Edward schools have access to nutritious food every day so they can focus on learning and growing.
From November 17 to 23, Tim Hortons locations across Canada will once again host their annual fundraiser, featuring a white chocolate cookie topped with red and green sprinkles. Each cookie supports local charities, community groups, and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
“We are so excited to be part of this year’s Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign,” says Kellie Brace, executive director of HPELF. “Every cookie sold helps make a real difference for kids right here in our community. The funds raised will go directly toward our Food for Learning programs, making sure students have the healthy meals they need to learn and thrive. We’re deeply grateful to Tim Hortons, their amazing staff, and everyone who shares a smile by purchasing a cookie—your support will truly nourish both hearts and bellies this holiday season”
Food for Learning programs help to ensure that local students have nutritious food to eat at school. Through breakfast, lunch and snack programs, more than 6,000 students receive the nourishment they need to be successful.
