Three people have been arrested and charged after a traffic stop and a drug investigation in the city’s north end on Wednesday.
The Belleville Police Drug Unit, along with the assistance of the Belleville Police Service K9 and Emergency Response Unit, conducted a vehicle stop in the city’s north end.
Two adult females were taken into custody before police executed a drug search warrant at a residence on North Park St., resulting in the arrest of one adult male.
Items seized from the vehicle included the following:
- 107.9 grams cocaine
- 2 cell phones
Items seized from the residence included:
- 7.2 grams crystal methamphetamine
- Digital scales
- Packaging material
- 1 cell phone
As a result of police investigation, the following persons were arrested:
Christine Dimitropoulos, a 45-year-old Belleville woman was charged and held for a bail hearing:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – crystal methamphetamine
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Outstanding warrant for fail to comply with probation order x2
Tanya Harris, a 41-year-old Belleville woman, was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – crystal methamphetamine
- Outstanding warrant for fail to comply with release order
Kevin Flood, a 55-year-old Belleville man, was charged with the following offences and was released on an undertaking with a court date in December:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – crystal methamphetamine
- Fail to comply with probation order
