A 21-year-old is facing charges after Kingston police received several 911 calls about a pickup truck with three wheels being driven in the city.
Officers received four separate calls about the vehicle on Wednesday.
At approximately 7:20 p.m., a patrol officer observed the pickup truck at Concession Street and MacDonnell Street.
The officer attempted to stop the pickup truck however it fled east on Concession Street at a high rate of speed.
Officers observed sparks emanating from the rear passenger side of the truck, as it was operating on its rim.
The truck was located a short time after on Adelaide Street, with the driver still inside.
Officers arrested the driver, a Kingston resident, who was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, fail to stop for police and breach of probation.
They were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
