A 42-year-old Peterborough woman wanted on a warrant is facing new charges after an incident Wednesday evening.
At approximately 9:00 p.m. on November 12, 2025, officers on general patrol were alerted to a suspended driver through the Automated Licence Plate Reader system.
They conducted a traffic stop in the High Street and Lansdowne Street West area.
Officers further learned that the while the driver was not the owner of the vehicle, she was also a suspended driver.
During a search after arrest, officers also found a small amount of cocaine.
As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested on the strength of the warrant and further charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine
- Driving while under suspension
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court December 23, 2025.
