The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Christmas campaign for critical surgical equipment is being bolstered by a generous matching gift from The Maurice & Marilyn Rollins Foundation.
Donations made to the campaign will be matched up to a limit of $50,000.
“Supporting Trenton Memorial Hospital and ensuring our community has access to the best surgical equipment is a priority for us,” said Christine Mills and Jeff Rollins of The Maurice & Marilyn Rollins Foundation. “We hope this matching gift inspires others to join us in making a difference. When we invest in our hospital, we invest in the health and well-being of our entire community.”
“We’re thrilled to launch our Christmas campaign with this incredible matching gift,” said Lindsay Butcher Dodds, Executive Director of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation. “A $100 donation becomes $200. A $500 donation becomes $1,000. We are grateful to The Maurice & Marilyn Rollins Foundation for inspiring our community to come together this holiday season.”
The campaign aims to raise over $300,000 for urgently-needed equipment including a Digital Duet Laser for eye surgeries, flexible cystoscopes, orthopedic power tools, patient stretchers, an operating room table and more.
Trenton Memorial Hospital performs over 8,000 surgeries annually.
“The equipment purchased through donor generosity enables us to perform surgeries with greater efficiency, timeliness, and safety,” said Heather Boomhour, Interim Manager of Presurgical Clinics at TMH. “Access to new equipment ensures high-quality care remains close to home.”
