We’ve already had a nasty taste of winter weather and warming centres are getting set to open in the Quinte region soon.
In Belleville, the warming centre will be operated through The Bridge Integrated Care Hub on Church Street. The hub will start providing service to the homeless for 22 hours a day on December 1.
In Quinte West, the overnight warming centre will again be at Trenton United Church and in Bancroft people will find shelter from the cold at 33 Bridge Street East.
Those centres are operated by Hastings County and will also open December 1.
