Planned construction in Prince Edward County was a little slower last month than in October of last year.
The county’s building department reports that 41 permits were issued with a construction value of just under $8 million.
In October of 2024, 73 permits were issued at a value of $10.5 million.
Last month, four permits were issued for new single-family homes with a value of $2.7 million.
