The Wellington Dukes battled into double overtime against the Haliburton Huskies, but neither team was able to overcome the other, ending in a 1-1 draw.

Neither team was able to get on the board in a scoreless first period. In the second, the Dukes scored their one and only of the night, taking the lead. In the third, the Huskies came back and tied the game with an unanswered goal. With neither team able to break the tie, the teams went into overtime, and then double overtime, with no goals scored. After both extra frames, the game ended in a draw.
The Wellington Dukes are back in action on Sunday, to host the Stouffville Spirit. The puck drops at 1:30.
