The Utica Comets shut out the Belleville Senators 3-0 on Friday.
The Comets opened scoring late in the first period with the only goal of the frame. In the second, the Comets scored again early in the period, before scoring again later on. Neither team scored in the third, leaving the Comets with the win.
The Belleville Senators are back in action on Saturday. They’re hosting the Hartford Wolf Pack at CAA Arena.
