Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement saying accumulating snow is likely for Sunday.
The weather agency says snowfall amounts of two to ten centimetres could fall starting Sunday morning and continue through Sunday evening.
It is noted that confidence remains low with respect to the strength and track of this weather system that Environment Canada is tracking, and as such the areas affected and snowfall amounts may change.
Motorists should expect difficult winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.
Installation of winter tires should be considered prior to Sunday.
