Building activity was down in Quinte West in October.
Forty-eight permits with a $5.47 million construction value were issued last month.
In October 2024 there were 79 permits worth $23.3 million.
Permits were issued for nine new residential units including two single-family homes, four semi-detached homes and three apartment units.
Year-to date-building statistics continue to lag behind 2024 with 481 permits worth $120.4 million granted through October 31 compared to 534 permits with a construction value of $168.6 million through the first 10 months of 2024.
