The Ontario Junior Hockey League has announced that Trenton Golden Hawks forward Taeo Artichuk has been awarded the East Conference Player of the Month for October.
It is back-to-back awards for Artichuk, who won the East Conference Player of the Month for September.
Artichuk tallied 22 points during nine games.
His 13 goals during that stretch include hat tricks against the Milton Menace on October 10 and the Pickering Panthers on October 24.
The 20-year-old is in second place in the OJHL scoring race with 42 points (20 goals/ 22 assists) from 19 regular season games.
He is in his third season with the Trenton Golden Hawks following two years with the Erie Otters.
