Quinte Hearing Centre is joining the The Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation’s Have You Heard fundraising campaign with a major commitment.
Quinte Hearing Centre has set a goal to raise $20,000 by donating $100 for every pair of hearing aids sold between now and the end of the 2024–2025 school year at each of their locations in Belleville, Picton, Tweed and Napanee.
The Have You Heard campaign aims to install soundfield systems in classrooms across the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board. The system amplifies and evenly distributes the teacher’s voice throughout the classroom, making it easier for students to hear and understand every word. Each system costs about $2,000 and has been shown to improve student attention, participation, and academic success.
