On Remembrance Day, a local widow will be laying a Silver Cross wreath on behalf of the Trenton Legion during the official ceremony.
Joan Larocque will lay the wreath for the third consecutive year, honouring her late husband, Cpl. Jacques Larocque. The act of laying the wreath is not only in remembrance of her husband, but for all families who have lost people in the line of duty.
The ceremony will take place at the Trenton Cenotaph, across the street from Larocque’s lighting and giftware store.
