Due to new provincial government legislation forbidding automated speed cameras, the Municipality of Brighton has announced that the speed camera now in use on Elizabeth Street near schools will be removed as of Friday, November 14.
Speed limit signage will be installed in that area and Brighton council will continue to consider various traffic-calming measures in areas of concern in the community.
