Two people from Belleville have been charged after a stabbing incident in Picton over the weekend.
On Saturday at around 2:15 a.m., officers with the Prince Edward County OPP responded to a reported stabbing at a local residence.
Officers arrived to find three victims with non-life-threatening injuries and another individual reporting to police that they were threatened with a knife.
A weapon was recovered at the scene, and two people were arrested.
Twenty-three-year-old Phoenix Draper of Belleville was charged with the following:
- Assault
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
- Assault with a weapon – two counts
- Assault causing bodily harm
- Unlawfully in a dwelling
- Fail to comply with probation order
Twenty-four-year-old Cameron Bush was charged with the following:
- Assault with a weapon – two counts
- Assault causing bodily harm
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
Both accused remain in custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
