Finally, the Quinte region experienced a relatively normal October, at least as far as the weather was concerned.
And the big weather story for the month was the amount of rain that fell.
The region received 96 mm of rain, more than the historical average of 90 mm.
The rainĀ was more than welcome as the area had suffered serious drought conditions for the previous four months.
The average high temperature last month was 16 degrees, a little warmer than the historical average of 14.
The average low was four degrees, also a bit higher than in past years.
