Tyendinaga police have charged two people and issued a warrant for another following two incidents earlier this month.
On October 23, 2025, a vehicle equipped with emergency lights conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle was assaulted and the motorcycle was stolen.
On October 24, police say three individuals were involved in a robbery at a business on Highway 49.
The owner was threatened and money was taken from the cash register.
On Thursday, October 30, Tyendinaga police executed a warrant at a residence on Old Highway 2 with the help of multiple OPP units and arrested Connor Bolton in connection with both incidents.
He faces charges including personating a police officer, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and robbery with theft and was held for a bail hearing on Friday.
Megan Shaver of Deseronto has been charged with robbery with theft while police have issued a warrant for Daniel Griffin of Markham on a charge of robbery with theft.
Shaver was released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for November.
