Environment Canada has upgraded its Special Weather Statement to a rainfall warning for the Quinte region.
Rainfall Warning:
Long duration rainfall expected today through Friday.
What: Heavy rainfall with total amounts of 40 to 70 mm. Locally higher amounts are possible.
When: Beginning this morning and continuing through Friday evening.
Additional information: A low pressure system will impact the area today into Friday. The heaviest rain is expected to fall this afternoon through Friday morning.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas.
Some travel delays are possible.
