A Cobourg man was arrested after police responded to a report of threats towards hospital staff early Tuesday morning.
Police were called to Northumberland Hills Hospital around 3 a.m. after security advised a man had threatened a staff member.
No injuries were reported to police.
As a result of the police investigation, a Cobourg man was arrested and charged with uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm, assault with a weapon, intimidation – health services – impeded health professional, and fail to comply with release order.
The accused was held for a show cause hearing.
