A wildfire that was been burning in the northern portion of our listening area has now been brought under control.
Earlier this month, a blaze called Haliburton 51 began burning about 30 minutes northeast of Gilmour.
The blaze was near Dafoe Lake and was about 25 acres in size.
It was fought by members of the Ministry of Natural Resources and they are still on scene.
It was brought under control and crews are now performing mop-up operations, which is extinguishing hot spots.
It is not known what caused the fire.
