Twenty-three-year-old Makayla Johnson of Belleville has already put her stamp on the boxing world and it appears she is just getting started.
She joined the Pinnacle Boxing club in mid-2023 and since then has won the following awards
- Ontario Provincial Silver x 2 Medalist
- 2024 National Bronze Medalist
- 2025 Quebec Open Bronze Medalist
- Ranked #2 in Ontario (2024) and #3 in Canada (2024)
- Represented Team Ontario at Nationals
On October 18, Johnson grabbed a silver at provincials, qualifying her for the nationals in Winnipeg November 26-30.
