Quinte Conservation’s Adopt an Acre fundraiser is back, and supporting a new initiative this year.
This year, donations to Adopt an Acre go to support the Pollinator Meadow at South Potter’s Creek conservation area, an outdoor classroom space with native plants designed to support pollinating species. Proceeds from the 2025 Adopt an Acre campaign will directly support the expansion of the Pollinator Meadow, enabling additional opportunities for community education and stewardship programs.
Each year, Adopt an Acre supports a different conservation project. This year, the Pollinator Meadow was selected due to the enthusiastic response from visitors in 2025 and growing interest in hands-on learning. For a donation of $30, donors can symbolically adopt an acre of protected Quinte Conservation land, with each contribution accompanied by a certificate and tax receipt.
