The Belleville Senators beat the Toronto Marlies 4-2 on Saturday.
Carter Yakemchuk, Keean Washkurak, Oskar Pettersson, and Hayden Hodgson scored for the Senators.
The Senators opened scoring in the first period with two unanswered goals, followed by another two goals in the second. The Marlies scored once in the second to get on the board, and again in the third, but couldn’t catch up and left the Senators with the win.
Both teams are back in action this afternoon for a second game at Coca-Cola Coliseum. The puck drops at 4 p.m.
