Northumberland OPP officers along with the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit pulled a vehicle from the Trent River in Campbellford late Tuesday.
Police had been searching an area around Ranney Gorge Drive and Seymour Quarry Road since the early afternoon.
On Tuesday evening OPP announced they’d found a vehicle in the water with no people inside.
Officers have now cleared the scene. Further details are not available at this time.
