One person from Greater Napanee has died following a hunting trip north of Huntsville.
On Monday, Kearney Fire, Parry Sound EMS and Almaquin Highlands OPP responded to a sudden death around 9 a.m. in Kearney, which is northeast of Huntsville.
In a release Tuesday, officers indicate they are looking into the sudden death, related to a hunting firearm incident.
A 71-year-old from Greater Napanee was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, the coroner’s office, and forensics are investigating, along with OPP.
