Belleville Fire is on the scene of a fire on Old Madoc Road.
It has resulted in the closure of the road.
Just before noon, fire crews responded to a shop on fire.
Quinte West Fire is assisting with a tanker to shuttle water.
The fire is under control but firefighters continue to address hot spots.
There are no injuries.
Fire prevention officers are on scene to investigate the cause.
Old Madoc Rd is expected to be closed between Hwy 62 and Zion Rd. for some time.
