The City of Quinte West is modernizing its building permit process by introducing a new digital e-permitting system.
This system makes applying for and managing applications and permits easier and more efficient for residents, businesses, and contractors.
The new e-permit system eliminates paper-based inefficiencies by streamlining the permitting process from submission to approval. With the new system, applicants have easy access to see the progress of their applications, can book permit inspections online, and have real-time access to inspection results.
With the new e-permit system, permit holders can also now conveniently submit updated drawings, plans, documents, or reports online, reducing delays and improving communication between applicants and city staff. The system also supports online payment options for building permits, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.
“The launch of the city’s new building e-permitting system is a step forward in enhancing our service delivery,” said Phillip Lappan, Chief Building Official. “Our team is committed to providing a more accessible, transparent, and efficient process for Quinte West residents, businesses and contractors. Applicants with accessibility needs may request assistance from city staff in submitting electronic applications, or are welcome to fill out a paper application.”
The City of Quinte West invites residents, businesses, and contractors to submit their next building permit application online.
