School board officials say there is no risk after an incident where an online threat was received at Prince Edward Collegiate Institute on Friday morning.
In a statement, the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board said that they contacted the OPP once they were made aware of the threat, which was made by an online post.
Police addressed the situation and confirmed that there was no risk to the students or staff at the school.
Families received notice from the school in an email on Friday afternoon to inform them of the situation.
The school will be open as normal on Monday.
