The Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Mississauga Chargers 7-2 on Friday.
Matt Indovina, Taeo Artichuk, Jamie Darlison, Candon O’Neill, Jack Ziliotto and Andrew Wycisk scored for the Golden Hawks.
The teams were deadlocked in the first period, with neither team able to get on the scoreboard. Early in the second, the Golden Hawks scored their first of the night and opened the floodgates for six back-to-back unanswered goals before the period ended. The Golden Hawks scored their final goal of the night in the third before the Chargers scored their only two goals of the game.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Thursday, on the road to face the Leamington Flyers.
