Northumberland-Peterborough South MPP David Piccini has announced a major investment from the Ontario government to help renew and rehabilitate critical infrastructure in municipalities across Northumberland.
A total of $7,903,089, administered through the Ontario Community infrastructure fund, is part of a $200-billion capital plan for public infrastructure.
“The Ontario government understands the unique challenges faced by rural communities like those in Northumberland—Peterborough South,” said MPP Piccini. “This funding will help modernize our roads, bridges, and water systems to ensure they’re safe, reliable, and ready for the future.”
The funding will be split across communities in the region. You can see a breakdown of the funding for each community below.
