Prince Edward County OPP have charged a man with producing and sharing images featuring child sexual exploitation.
The investigation began earlier this year.
It was reported that an individual had been showing inappropriate images to young people. As part of the investigation, a search warrant was executed and electronic devices were seized for expert examination.
On Wednesday, the man was arrested and charged with:
- Makes, prints or publishes, or possession for the purpose of publication of any child sexual abuse or exploitation material
- Possession of child sexual abuse or exploitation material
The man’s name is not being released to protect the identity of the victims.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in November.
