Cobourg Police Service says the Ontario Provincial Police Tactics and Rescue Unit is currently conducting a training operation at the Brookside Property (390 King Street East) in the Town of Cobourg.
This exercise is expected to conclude Wednesday afternoon at approximately 5:00 p.m.
During this time, the public may notice an increased police presence in the area, accompanied by an increase in loud noises from police equipment and tools. This may include sounds like power tools, yelling, and occasional loud bangs as part of their training activities.
There is no risk to public safety.
