Multiple charges have been laid against a 37-year-old man after a business was broken into in Belleville’s north end.
Late Friday night, staff of the business reported finding a bicycle and personal belongings of an unknown person at the rear of the store.
They also heard footsteps above the store.
Police went to the roof and located a male actively damaging a rooftop HVAC unit.
During the arrest the suspect attempted to flee.
