A driver has been located deceased following a single-vehicle collision on Loyalist Parkway (Highway 33) in Prince Edward County.
Officers with the Prince Edward County OPP and other first responders were called to the scene near Wellington around 8:15 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025.
An eastbound pickup truck had left the roadway and struck some trees. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was able to get out of the truck and was located nearby. He was rushed to a local hospital with no vital signs and was pronounced deceased.
The individual has been identified as a 69-year-old man from Quinte West.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Prince Edward County detachment, with assistance from the OPP East Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team.
