The Aurora Tigers beat the Wellington Dukes 7-5 on Sunday.
Zachary Carrier, Zachary Mascard, and Evan Erwin scored for the Dukes.
The Tigers took off to an explosive start, scoring four unanswered first-period goals, and adding a fifth in the second. During the second period, the Dukes got on the board with their first of the night, followed by four goals of their own in the third, with the Tigers scoring twice more to hold on to their lead and take the game.
The Dukes are back in action this afternoon. They’re facing the Stouffville Spirit at 2:30.
