The Newmarket Hurricanes defeated the Wellington Dukes 6-2 on Saturday.
Zachary Carrier and Beckham Brooks scored for the Dukes.
The Hurricanes grabbed three first-period goals before the Dukes took their first with less than minute to go in the frame. In the second, both teams took an additional goal, before the Hurricanes took two more in the third to seal the deal and take the game.
The Dukes are back in action on Tuesday, travelling to face the North York Rangers.
