Hard work by staff and volunteers and the generosity of the general public has led to another successful Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon for The Children’s Foundation.
Near the end of Wednesday’s 12-hour Radiothon, over $52,000 had been raised.
But that number doesn’t include the funds raised through the online auction and money generate through third party special events.
We expect to learn the final results soon.
The Childen’s Foundation is thanking the nine radio stations involved (including CJBQ, MIX97 and ROCK107) and residents, saying that because of their help more children will have the chance to explore, learn, and thrive.
